The Chicago Bulls have a great history, if you grew up in the 1990′s like I did you remember the Bulls. The Bulls had the greatest player every to play the game in Michael Jordan as well as Scottie Pipen, Horace Grant, and so many other greats. The Bulls won six titles in eight years. With many people believing that they could have won a few more if Jordan didn’t leave to play baseball and retire shortly after that. The Bulls were a great team during the 1990′s.
Shortly after Jordan left, so did everyone else. So there were some years where the Bulls were one of the worst teams in the league. They had little talent and their draft picks did not take off like everyone expected them to. But lately the Bulls have been playing better and making the playoffs. They have a good young squad with the Likes of Derek Rose and Jokim Noah.
Right now everyone is talking about free agency and many people are expecting the Bulls to sign on of the top players in the Game. Lebron James. It is believed to be between the Cavaliers and the Bulls, with the Bulls with the edge. Lebron James would make the Bulls an instant contender for the title. He is only 25 years old and is in the prime of his career. It is also believed if he signs with the Bulls that the Bulls would be able to sign another great free agent Chris Bosh.
The Bulls would be unBullievable, they would have a strong group of guys for the next 5, 6,7 years. The Bulls will be the toast of the NBA and it will be very exciting for Chicago. We have the Chicago Blackhawks playing termendous right now, the Bears on verge of being great. It will be a winning sports town for a while to come. Now we just need the Cubs to do something.
These players will be making millions of dollars every year. While I may not be making millions, Cashcrate allows me to earn some extra money. Fantasy baseball is a fun way to keep up with your favorite players and favorite teams. This is an entertainment that can take up a lot of your time. That is mainly played by guys, but some girls plays. Since it takes up a lot of time, this is one thing that a lot of girlfriends and wives do not like!
There are two main types of fantasy baseball. Roto and head to head. We will get back to these in a minute.
There are a few popular places to play fantasy baseball. Those are espn.com and yahoo.com. There are usually 10 or 12 teams in a fantasy baseball league. When you have all the people play (the managers), you will have a draft. There is like any draft people who choose players with the first pick and people who get there first pick 12th. Then the 12th pick will get the 13th pick and 11th pick would receive the 14th pick and so on. It goes back and fourth. The goal is the draft is to select your team, you need a player in for every position and pitchers. You get relief pitchers and starters. You will also need bench players to play certain days in your line up. You want to have the most balanced team, with hitting, power, speed. Good pitching, saves, era, etc.
Getting back to the two types of leagues we will start with the head to head league. This league you will face off against a different manager every week. You are essentially playing your team vs your team for that one week. You receive a point if you beat him in a certain category, or he will receive the point if he beats you. For example if I had 11 home runs with my team and he had 8 points, I would receive one point and he would receive 0. You want the points, they count as Wins or Losses. At the end of the season whoever has the most points will win the league. The disadvantage of this type of week, is that your players may have a off week and hurt your team for a week. Anyone can win a week if they get lucky.
In Roto you are playing against everyone for the entire season. The stats add up every day for the whole season, instead against teams weekly. This is better because players will have good weeks and bad weeks, but this keeps it balanced. It keeps it so the best player will win.

In a few months many young adults are going to be taking the next step in life. Going to college and for many being away from their family for the first time. I graduated from college about two years ago and would like to shed some light on a few things.

In college you are going to have many choices and many responsibilities. You are not going to have your parents hold your hands anymore, or to tell you no. You have to make choices, good ones and bad ones. And you are not always going to make the right choices. There are many pressures out there. There are parties all the time, there is going to times you have to decide if you are ready to drink and if you want to do drugs. You got to remember, if you want to, be smart and safe. Don’t drink too much, be in control when you drink. Look at other people when they are really drunk and decide, do I want that to be me? Do you want to go to class? No one is going to make you go to class, more people skip classes in college then they do in High School. If you don’t show up the professor isn’t going to call you. You may miss tests, classes, papers, and get bad grades. Or you may not, you have to be smart.
You have to remember when you go to College the reason you are there is to get an education and get a good job when you leave. Not for the party on that one Thursday night. You have to be responsible.
There are many issues when you leave and go away to school. Those are just two that I touched on briefly, remember to go to cashcrate and earn some extra money so you can relax some in college and do have fun. College is a time in my life I will never forget, I had a blast and met many great people. I hope you all do to.

The new iPhone 4G is being released on Thursday, June 24th at 7:00am! Pre-sales were said to have sold out in just 15 minutes, were you able to snag one? The iPhone 4G has many features that have been added as well as a new, sleek style. This model is much thinner, the thinnest touch screen phone thus far. It is also made out of Unlike the preceding iPhone’s the iPhone 4G will have a forward facing camera, making it possible to Skype! As well as the Skype, the new 5 megapixel camera will have zoom and a flash, which we features that were not included on the iPhone 3G or 3Gs. I upgraded my iOS today and am very impressed. The iPhone 4G will be available at Apple Stores, AT&T stores, as well as retailers such as Radio Shack, Walmart, and Best Buy. Summer is here, and along with it are all the county fairs, baseball games, movies, and amazing vacations that come along with it. Almost all schools are finally out of session by now, and finally we all have some free time to spend on whatever we like. The only problem for many of us, though, is that all of these amazing summer activities now cost a substantial amount of money.
I know that my local county fair costs $13 just to get into it. Toy Story 3 was one of the best movies I have ever seen. That didn’t change the fact that it cost me about $10 just to get into the theater though. And on top of that enormous admission cost, I also had to get some popcorn and a drink, and that almost cost me another $10!
When you finally just need to get away from it all and go on a vacation, you also need…you guessed it! Airfare has been skyrocketing over the years due to rising fuel costs, not to mention all the added employees trying to shore up security. It can cost thousands of dollars to fly your family anywhere – And that’s just in coach!

As a diehard Celtics fan, I am banking on my faith in Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and the rest of the cast to shut down the Lakers and take the title. With the recent knee injury of the main support in Boston’s defense, Kendrick Perkins, the bench will have to play a large role in taking this title from Kobe and the Lakers. If the game is anything like game 3, Nate Robinson and “Big Baby” Davis will live up to their self-appointed titles of Shrek and Donkey and will tag-team the Lakers defense in order to keep the championship hopes alive for the Celtics. Shooting has been a feat the Celtics have had a difficult time overcoming this series, but if Ray Allen can get in a rhythm, there is no stopping him from the 3-point line – same goes for Rasheed Wallace.
Then there are talks of who will get the NBA Finals MVP award. Obviously if the Lakers win, it will be awarded to Kobe Bryant, but it is not so cut and dry if the Celtics arise victorious. The Boston team has had different stand out players in each game of the series. Rajon Rondo was my pick for the MVP, but has been in a bit of a slump the past two games. Usually it would be Paul Pierce, as the leader of the team, being considered for MVP, but with only a few above average performances this series, it is hard to justify. Ray Allen broke the NBA Finals record of the most 3-pointers in a finals game with EIGHT 3-pointers and 32 points in Game 2 of the Championship Series, but has been sub-par for the remainder of the games. Kevin Garnett… well, I am just not sold on him. Since his knee injury last year, he is just not the same player. He comes into the game with the same passion and intensity, but his body just doesn’t seem to be able to keep up with that drive. Throughout the series, the only players to truly take a game and turn it around for a win for the Celtics are “Big Baby” Davis and Nate Robinson. As we know, it is highly unlikely a bench player would be named MVP, but with screaming, drool, piggy-backs, technical fouls and all – my vote goes to Shrek and Donkey.
