Why do I get kicked out of surveys?

Most survey takers give thoughtful and high caliber responses to the surveys they receive however there are always a few bad eggs…

This post will explain exactly what survey quality checks are, why they exist and what happens if your responses to a questionnaire don’t meet these quality screening requirements.

Why is there a need for quality checks?

Survey companies, strongly believe that your attention is the most valuable thing for businesses and you should be rewarded for your participation in research campaigns.
With this in mind, surveys are designed to deliver the highest quality research data to clients so that they can improve their products and services.
To this end, a number of quality control measures have been put into action to ensure that the responses collected meet and exceed industry standards.
This is a win-win situation. The happier market research clients are, the more surveys you will have to do and the more you will be paid!

All free text responses are checked for offensive or inappropriate language.

Research surveys now contain censors which will detect any profanities or offensive language such as swear words. Should you use inappropriate language, an error message will usually appear on your page which will not allow you to progress until you have revised your response.

Remember: If you submit truthful answers to surveys which contain no bad language, you don’t have anything to worry about.

Should you break any of these rules you could be looking at the closure of your online survey account!

Incomprehensible responses include text such as ‘asdfdadfadfad’ or ;kjkjkjkjkjkjkjlkjl’
Survey responses which contain incomprehensible text can not be delivered to clients, which means you do not get paid if your responses are discounted.

Remember: If you think about your answers and type carefully, you don’t have anything to worry about.

The time it takes you to finish each research survey will be checked against the estimated completion time to ensure you don’t speed through.

When a survey is created in the system it estimates the amount of time it takes to complete. The estimated completion time for a survey is based on the time it will take to read through each question at an average reading speed and provide considered responses. The estimated time for each survey usually appears at the bottom of each invite. Completing a survey in a substantially shorter period than the estimated completion time tells that your answers were rushed and thoughtless, or that you didn’t read through the text properly. Because of the promise of high quality data (well-considered answers) to clients, your responses will be discounted, which means you don’t get paid.

Remember: If you read through questions at your normal pace and consider your answers, you have nothing to worry about.

All survey responses will be checked for inconsistent or inaccurate answers.

Examples of inconsistent or inaccurate responses can include:
• responses which contradict other responses you submit during a survey eg saying you have a household income of $20,000 or lower per annum but also saying you have 3 or more luxury cars;
• responses which contradict information stored in your profile eg answering ‘Male’ in a survey but having the gender ‘Female’ stored in your profile; and
• selecting all available responses in a multi-response question in order to qualify for a survey.

Grid-style Questions

For grid-style questions, examples can also include selecting answers in a diagonal pattern or all in one column or row. Should a survey detect inconsistent answers in any of your survey responses, your survey could stop while you are part way through or your payment for completing the survey can be deducted from your account balance.

Remember: If you submit truthful answers to surveys you don’t have anything to worry about!

It’s a breach of most survey sites Terms of Service to submit responses to a survey that are:
• offensive or inappropriate;
• incomprehensible (jibberish);
• rushed or not considered;
• inconsistent or inaccurate;

Terms of Service are taken very seriously and there are some severe consequences for breaching these rules!

Remember: You agreed to the Terms of Service when you signed up so it’s your responsibility to ensure your answers are truthful and considered.

What will happen if you are caught…

Should you break any of these rules you could be looking at the very least non payment for the survey taken and the closure of your account!
• forfeiting any payment you received for participating in a survey;
• being blocked from receiving any further surveys;

Remember: If you submit truthful answers to surveys you don’t have anything to worry about!

So now that you know what not to do when it comes to getting paid with surveys online, why not try doing a few and see how quick it is to earn easy money online, I highly recommend Cashcrate and think it is well worth joining.

Are you good at Bejeweled?

Are you good at Bejeweled? If so, then you should really consider checking out CashCrate. CashCrate does not only offer surveys that you can complete for cash, but it also has an array of games that members can play to earn points. For example, one of the games on CashCrate that is very similar to Bejeweled is called SlotBot. Basically, it’s a race against the clock. The goal of the game is to arrange items by moving them up, down, left, or right so that three or more of the same item is in a row or column.

Another really fun game that you may want to check out is Word Noodle. Word Noodle is basically a game where you use your brain to find as many words as you can from a scrambled board of random letters. These games are a fun alternative for those who may not wish to complete long surveys. These games can also be an opportunity for people to relieve some stress and take a break from tedious homework or occupation related work. These games are also an excellent cure to boredom when there is nothing better to do or you are just simply looking to kill some time. What more could anyone ask for than to play games and earn points!

On CashCrate, points can be redeemed for gift cards from a variety of popular stores such as Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks, and many more. Points are extremely popular during the holiday seasons because people can simply earn points to get gifts for their friends, families, and/or loved ones. If you’d like to sign up and check out the games, surveys, and other fun things that CashCrate has to offer, just click here.
