There are many places to go to do paid online surveys. But only one reliable proven one that I have found. Which is cashcrate. I have gone over in previous articles how to make some extra cash on there as well as how to get support via the forum. What I want to talk about with you today is their point system.

You can do paid online surveys for cash on cashcrate, but there are also offers. There are offers that will require you to do certain things and then in return you will receive a set amount of money. For every $1 you earn in offers you will receive one point. So that is the first way and the most common way to earn points.

There are also certain offers that cashcrate has set up with advertisers that will allow you to gain points. They are set points. You can earn anywhere from 1 point to a couple hundred points, depending on the offer. Some of the offers are free, some are trial offers, some are surveys, etc. If you focus on these and work on these you easily earn thousands of extra points to spend.

Another way to earn points is to sign up and follow cratey on twitter. Every once in a while he will tweet a coupon code to put in for either cash or to earn some extra points!

The last way to earn some extra points on cashcrate is to play the games. The games are not free, they do require points to play. You can play weekly tournaments which require 1 point to play or you can play daily tournaments which require 2 points to play. You should practice on the weekly so you will be able to lean the games better. If you win one of the tournaments you will receive 50% of the points in the pool, 2nd is 20%, 3rd is 15%, 4th is 10% and 5th is 5%.

Then the points you can turn in for gift cards and other merchandise. It takes 500 points to get a $25 gift card to many different locations. There are smaller and bigger amounts as well. You can learn about the prizes in the prize shop and decide what you want to save up for. The paid online survey site allows you to get gift cards as well!

Cashcrate.com is a great site that allows you to earn cold hard cash and gift cards. It is a great site and it allows you to get have some fun money. What else could you ask for at a paid online survey site!

It is that time of year again! I am not a big fan of reality TV shows but one of them that I do watch is on CBS and it is called Big Brother.

Big brother is a show that puts 13 house guests together in a house and eliminates one by one. It is taken place in California. In the house they do not have TV, radio, telephone, and a lot of other electronic items that we all have today.

How it works out is that every week there is a competition that the house guests are in to see who the head of household is. Referred to a lot on the show as HOH. The competition can be anything from answer questions, to endurance competition, to athletic and so on. Whoever wins the competion wins HOH and is the most powerful person currently in the house. You can not be HOH for two weeks in a row.

When you are HOH you have your own private bedroom with doors that locks. (that no other room has), you have a TV in the bedroom which is used for security so you can spy on your fellow houseguests. The main responsibility is to nominate two people for eviction. These are two people for whatever reason you may not want in the house. Just like any other reality show where people get eliminated there are alliances where people will hook up to get farther in the game. So you may try to break up alliances if you are the HOH.

After they nominate two people there will be the next competition which is the Power of Veto. There is where the two nominations and the HOH, and three random house guests will play for the power of veto. Just like the HOH there is a competition and whoever wins has this power. If you win the power of Veto you are able to take yourself off of the block, or someone else. If you take someone else off the HOH is unable to place you on the block.

When you take someone off the block the HOH must place someone else on the block.

Then the people in the house will vote for who they want to go home. This is done in private so no one knows who is voting for who. Whoever receives the most votes will be sent home.

This goes on till there is one person left standing. The winner will receive $500,000.

While you may not make $500,000 on cashcrate.com, cashcrate allows you to earn extra spending money. On cashcrate you are able to play games, do surveys, and much more. It is a great way to earn some extra cash!

In addition to doing offers and surveys for cash on cashcrate you are able to play games with your points to win great prizes. The prizes consist of mainly gift cards to many different merchants, but you can get a camera, playstation 3, Wii, and many other prizes.

To play games you need points to play. So the first thing that you need to do is get the points on cashcrate. You earn 1 point for every dollar in offers that you complete. So you can gather points fairly quickly. But there is another way to get points, a larger amount a little quicker. There are offers that you can earn points, just like there are offers where you can earn cash. These are surveys, and a lot of them are trial offers. Some will offer you hundreds of points. You can check it out on cashcrate, just go to the main page and hit the points tab. As well once you earn your first check from cashcrate you can post your check on the payment wall and get an easy 20 points!

There are many games to play on cashcrate games. My favorites are snakefish, tripeaks, and pyramid solitare. Many players play the games to try to win extra points to use for prizes. So there are some people who are extremely good at the games and get high scores that you may feel are impossible. They are not impossible, it just takes practice. I consider myself very good at snakefish, I usually finish in the top two, if not win. But when I first started I was not very good. It took time and practice. now I earn enough points to get gift cards every month. usually about 2 or three $25 gift cards. Cashcrate will mail them around the 18th-22nd and I receive them fairly quickly after that.

There are two different types of situations you can play the daily games on cashcrate. They are weekly and daily. The daily will cost you two points per try. The top five in each game will get a payout the next day. It ends at 8:45 central time. first place gets 50%, 2nd gets 20%, 3rd gets 15%, 4th gets 10% and fifth gets 5%. So if a lot of people play a certain game and you are able to win, you can win a lot of points.

Then there are the weekly games. This is where you should practice. You should practice here because it will just cost you one point instead of the two. The weekly games will pay out on Monday morning at 7:45 central time. These prizes typically get large because people are playing them for a whole week instead of just one day. They payout to the winners is the same. top 5 takes the points.

The games that cashcrate lets us play are fun. They allow us to earn some points and entertain us. My favorite games may not be for you, but there are others that may be. So go to cashcrate and check it out

Fantasy baseball is a fun way to keep up with your favorite players and favorite teams. This is an entertainment that can take up a lot of your time. That is mainly played by guys, but some girls plays. Since it takes up a lot of time, this is one thing that a lot of girlfriends and wives do not like!

There are two main types of fantasy baseball. Roto and head to head. We will get back to these in a minute.

There are a few popular places to play fantasy baseball. Those are espn.com and yahoo.com. There are usually 10 or 12 teams in a fantasy baseball league. When you have all the people play (the managers), you will have a draft. There is like any draft people who choose players with the first pick and people who get there first pick 12th. Then the 12th pick will get the 13th pick and 11th pick would receive the 14th pick and so on. It goes back and fourth. The goal is the draft is to select your team, you need a player in for every position and pitchers. You get relief pitchers and starters. You will also need bench players to play certain days in your line up. You want to have the most balanced team, with hitting, power, speed. Good pitching, saves, era, etc.

Getting back to the two types of leagues we will start with the head to head league. This league you will face off against a different manager every week. You are essentially playing your team vs your team for that one week. You receive a point if you beat him in a certain category, or he will receive the point if he beats you. For example if I had 11 home runs with my team and he had 8 points, I would receive one point and he would receive 0. You want the points, they count as Wins or Losses. At the end of the season whoever has the most points will win the league. The disadvantage of this type of week, is that your players may have a off week and hurt your team for a week. Anyone can win a week if they get lucky.

In Roto you are playing against everyone for the entire season. The stats add up every day for the whole season, instead against teams weekly. This is better because players will have good weeks and bad weeks, but this keeps it balanced. It keeps it so the best player will win.

I hope this helps briefly explain fantasy baseball to you. Most leagues play for a nominal fee, which I am able to pay for by going to cashcrate and earning extra money.

Cashcrate is a free site that allows you to play games, do surveys, trial offers and much more. Cashcrate is paid by advertisers and then they pass on some of the money to it’s users. Cashcrate is 100% legit and helps me pay for fun activities such as fantasy baseball, movies, and so much more. Please check it out.

Today kicked off the biggest week of the year for the video game industry. Today kicked off the Electronic Entertainment Expo of 2010. E3 as it is known, is a gathering of the industry’s biggest and best where they show off and talk about the future plans of their companies and introduce the new hardware, games, and DLC the companies will be releasing in the near future. Each major company holds its own press conference, in which they do exactly what is stated above, and with the competition that exists between “The Big 3” (Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo) to be the best in the industry, these press conferences have become the place to prove that they are the best and show you why you should buy their console.

The first company to take the stage at the Los Angelis Convention Center was Microsoft. At E3 last year, their focus was on the casual gamer, and with the announcement of Project Natal, this years E3 was highly anticipated by Xbox owners both casual and hardcore, to see if they would be able to actually follow through with the technology of Natal, which seemed very sketchy to many, and still be able to provide the core games that keep the diehards on xbox live for hours on end. After watching the live coverage of the press conference, I can assure anyone who had any doubts, they were able to deliver.

For the hardcore gamers, the press conference held demos of Call of Duty: Black Ops and a 4 player co-op campaign demo of Gears of War 3. Both games looked phenomenal, surprisingly with Gears 3 looking better despite still being in early development and having a release date of April 2011, while COD: Black Ops will be released this year on November 9th. Although, the coolest part of either demo was when it showed you get to fly a helicopter in Black Ops. A noteworthy announcement that accompanied the Black Ops demo was a 3 year deal between Microsoft and Activision which states that all DLC for the franchise will be released on the 360 before any other platform. In addition to the demos, trailors for Metal Gear Solid: Rising, Fable III, and Halo Reach had the hardcore fans on the edge of their seats. Rising will bring a whole new look and feel to the MGS series whenever it hits stores (A release date was not announced),while Halo Reach and Fable III will bring new stories, weapons, and game modes to these 2 series that we know and love when they hit stores in September and October respectively.

For the casual gamers, Project Natal, or should I say Kinect as it is now being called, was all that was really shown. However, just about everything you could want to know about it, other than its price, was shown, demoed, explained, or talked about. Some of the coolest features that were shown for the piece of hardware that will release on November 4th are the new way of signing in and moving through the menus as well as video Kinect. In order to sign in, all you have to do is wave at the sensor. In order to select anything from a menu, all you have to do is say xbox followed by whatever you want to access. For example, “xbox zune” would take you to the zune menu. This voice feature also works while watching movies as well. If you have to go to the bathroom, all you have to do is say “xbox pause” and your movie will pause. Video Kinect is a feature that works just kind of like a webcam, allowing you to see and talk to friends who are also using either Video Kinect or Windows Live Messenger.

The press conference also revealed some the launch games for Kinect. These include Kinectimals, Kinect Sports, Kinect Joy Ride, Kinect Adventures, Your Shape Fitness Revealed, and Dance Central. Each of these games was demoed and looked really cool. The Kinect software appeared to work flawlessly with them as well. There will also be 9 more games available at launch, making a total of 15 launch titles for Kinect. In addition to the games demoed, there were videos for 2 other games coming to Kinect in 2011. A titleless Star Wars game and Forza Motersport, which each allow for a lot of creativity when combining them with Kinect.

Aside from the games and Kinect, Microsoft also took the opportunity to unveil some new partnerships. The first partnership announced was one with Crytek with plans of a 360 exclusive shooter. Many people speculate that this partnership could also lead to the God of War series (PS3 exclusive) being brought to the 360. The second and most noteworthy partnership announced was one with ESPN. This partnership will bring xbox live gold members over 3500 live and on-demand sporting events each year, all for free. They even brought out Josh Elliot and Trey Wingo, anchors of Sportcenter, to demo the new service.
Despite all of the great games and technology of Kinect being shown, the biggest announcement of Microsofts press conference came at the end. After much speculation for previous weeks, the new xbox console was unveiled. It is sleeker and smaller than previous models, has a 250gb HD, and built in Wifi. This new console will be available THIS WEEK for $299. The current Elite model received a price cut to $249 and the arcade model received a price cut to $149.

So now that you have heard about all the new awesomeness coming from Microsoft this year, you probably are starting to wonder how you are going to be able to pay for all of these great games, the new 360, and Kinect. Join CashCrate today and start earning the extra money now, so you can get all of these great games on release day.

If you missed Microsoft’s press conference and would like to see it and all the awesome demos and footage that was unveiled, you can watch it in its entirety at http://www.gametrailers.com/e3/livefeed/microsoft

And after you watch it I would encourage you to comment and let me know what you thought about the games, kinect, and other hot topics from the Microsoft press conference at E3 2010.

Be sure check back tomorrow for more Spotlight coverage of E3 2010.

Like many people out there I have been searching desperately for years to figure out a way to make some money online. Since I stay at home taking care of the kids and the house I often feel guilty that I am not contributing to bringing in some money for the family.

With the way the economy is these days it can be a very frustrating time for all of us. How many of you stay at home moms or dads are at your wits end trying to help make ends meet? Well, now that search is over for me since I found out about Cashcrate.

Wish you could make money while gaming/browsing the web?
Well you can!! Cashcrate is considered, in my opinion, as well as others, one of the best, totally free, money making websites that anyone can participate in! I started about two months ago, and I am personally always working on homework for at least a hour a day. Nevertheless I was referred to this money making website which I can complete quick and easy surveys for cash!

I spend a few good minutes filling them out, and after I submit them, I’ll work on my homework and come back in awhile and get excited when I see my money has risen. In addition, I used to game all the time, whether it was online, on a gaming system, or just chatting online with some friends, there are always breaks in between that I’m like… BORED. Cashcrate is the 110% way to go!

After starting my two months, learning by myself, I have earned a quick and successful $200 and all my time I would’ve just wasted sitting around was not wasted at all! Sure people are saying; this isn’t a lot of money in two months of time… Consider, wouldn’t you want an extra $200 in your pocket? For your girlfriend? For personal pleasure? (come on now….) I know I would! I have recently been scouting out a job in real life, and after many applications and months of time passed, I have finally gotten one. The only bad thing is, is that it’s a part time job that can’t afford to give me a full time job. Thats where cashcrate can kick in! Hop on the internet during your free time and earn a little extra dough! The economy now a days is pretty harsh on everyone, and the internet is becoming more and more dominate in society.

In addition the referral system in this site is outstanding! Even though I’m not benefiting at a great amount at this moment, the potential could be life lasting money in your wallet! Getting your friends involved is a great way to make additional money for a fun night out of the house on the weekends. Please everyone; sign up here and give Cashcrate a chance. Please feel free to post a message if you have any questions, you will NOT be let down, because I sure wasn’t!

Are you good at Bejeweled? If so, then you should really consider checking out CashCrate. CashCrate does not only offer surveys that you can complete for cash, but it also has an array of games that members can play to earn points. For example, one of the games on CashCrate that is very similar to Bejeweled is called SlotBot. Basically, it’s a race against the clock. The goal of the game is to arrange items by moving them up, down, left, or right so that three or more of the same item is in a row or column.

Another really fun game that you may want to check out is Word Noodle. Word Noodle is basically a game where you use your brain to find as many words as you can from a scrambled board of random letters. These games are a fun alternative for those who may not wish to complete long surveys. These games can also be an opportunity for people to relieve some stress and take a break from tedious homework or occupation related work. These games are also an excellent cure to boredom when there is nothing better to do or you are just simply looking to kill some time. What more could anyone ask for than to play games and earn points!

On CashCrate, points can be redeemed for gift cards from a variety of popular stores such as Amazon, Best Buy, Starbucks, and many more. Points are extremely popular during the holiday seasons because people can simply earn points to get gifts for their friends, families, and/or loved ones. If you’d like to sign up and check out the games, surveys, and other fun things that CashCrate has to offer, just click here.
